1/4 cup | Ginger root (fresh; chopped) |

29 gm | Sweetener, syrup, agave |
1 lemon wedge | Lemon |
1. Chop ginger. Slice into pieces 1/4 inch thick. You do not need to remove the skin.
2. Add ginger to small sauce pan and warm on medium heat until simmering.
3. Allow pot to simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove pot from heat and stir in agave.
4. Allow ginger to steep another 10 minutes before serving.
5. Scoop tea into mug with chunks of ginger included. Add a slice of lemon or lemon wedge to your tea if desired. Enjoy!
