1 cup Turmeric root (fresh; roughly chopped)
1 piece, 1-inch Ginger root ((approx . 1-inch piece))
1 stick(s) Cinnamon
4 Cup Water, filtered (or unsweetened coconut water)
1 medium Lemon (juiced)
1 dash Black pepper (freshly cracked)
1 tbsp Coconut oil (or MCT)
1 tsp Honey (or maple syrup to taste)

Instructions


  • Prepare Ingredients: Place turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon stick in a saucepan with coconut water or filtered water.
  • Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the ingredients are well infused.
  • Strain and Add Flavoring: Remove from heat and strain the tea into mugs. Add lemon juice, black pepper, coconut oil, and optional sweetener, stirring well.
