1 tsp | Baking soda |
1/4 cup | Dark chocolate chips (optional) |
1/3 cup | Coconut oil |
1/3 cup | Maple syrup, pure |
1 pinch | Himalayan sea salt |
1/2 tsp | Lemon extract (optional) |
1. Preheat oven to 325º F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Add the flours, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips into a medium-sized bowl and stir.
3. In a separate small bowl, add the coconut oil, maple syrup, salt and lemon. Mix until well combined
4. Add the wet mixture to the dry bowl and stir until the mixture reaches a doughy consistency
5. Roll into 1 inch sized balls and place onto the baking tray
6. Bake for 12 minutes
Let cool for 15 minutes before serving
