Greek Turkey Burgers with Coconut-Dill Sauce

Suitable for the GAPS, SCD, or Paleo diets- these turkey burgers have so much flavor you'll be sure to not miss the bread at all.


1 1/3 kg Ground turkey, lean (Turkey Burger)
1/2 cup Mint, fresh (chopped; Turkey Burger)
4 tsp Paprika (Turkey Burger)
1 tsp Cinnamon (Turkey Burger)
1 pepper(s) Serrano pepper (finely diced; or Anaheim chili; Turkey Burger)
2 tsp Sea salt, fine (Turkey Burger)
3 tbsp Avocado oil (plus more to grease the skillet; Turkey Burger)
1 can(s) (13.5 oz) Coconut milk (Coconut-Dill Dressing:)
4 whole lemon(s) Lemon juice (Coconut-Dill Dressing:)
4 tsp Dill, dried (Coconut-Dill Dressing:)
4 clove(s) Garlic (crushed; Coconut-Dill Dressing:)
1 tsp Parsley, dried (Coconut-Dill Dressing:)
1 1/2 tsp Sea salt, fine (Coconut-Dill Dressing:)


  1. Preheat griddle over medium heat.
  2. Mix the turkey, chopped mint, paprika, cinnamon, pepper, salt, and 3 tablespoons avocado oil.
  3. Form into patties 4 inches across and ¾ inch thick.
  4. Grease the griddle with avocado oil and grill burgers in batches, 3 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove from heat and freeze in a single layer on a cookie sheet, then transfer to a gallon zip-top bag once frozen.
  6. For the dressing: Mix all ingredients. Store covered in the fridge up to 10 days.
  7. Reheating instructions: From frozen, heat over med-low heat for 5 mins on each side, top with dressing, and enjoy!
