Shrimp fajitas are the perfect sizzling skillet meal!


681 gm Shrimp, raw (medium, peeled and deveined)
1 medium pepper(s) Orange bell pepper (thinly sliced)
1/2 tsp Green onion (thinly sliced; green part only)
1 medium pepper(s) Red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
1 dash Hot pepper (chili) flakes (or chili powder, to taste)
1 dash Oregano, dried (or chili powder, to taste)
1/2 tsp Paprika, sweet
2 whole lime(s) Lime juice (fresh)
1/4 cup Cilantro (coriander) (chopped, optional garnish)


  1. Preheat a gas or charcoal grill over high heat.
  2. Cut four sheets of foil, about 12-inches long. 
  3. Divide shrimp, bell peppers, and green onion into equal portions and add to the center of each foil in a single layer.
  4. Fold up all 4 sides of each foil packet. 
  5. Add olive oil, hot pepper flakes, oregano, paprika, and lime juice; gently toss to combine. 
  6. Fold the sides of the foil over the shrimp, covering completely and sealing the packets closed.
  7. Place foil packets on the grill and cook until just cooked through about 10-12 minutes.
  8. Served immediately with corn tortillas, brown rice, or over a bed of salad greens, garnished with cilantro, if desired.



  • Alternatively, bake in the oven at 400F (204C) for 12-15 minutes.
