  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to boil over high heat.
  2. Once boiling, turn off the heat but keep the saucepan on the burner. Cover and let sit for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Strain the water and fill the saucepan with cold water. Let eggs sit until cool enough to handle.
  4. Peel off the shell and cut eggs as you wish; sprinkle salt and pepper to taste
