Healthier Banana Bread

1/4 cup Almond milk, unsweetened
1/2 cup Applesauce, unsweetened
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Baking soda
2 medium Banana (s) (very ripe)
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 medium Egg
3 packet (individual) Sweetener, sucralose, SPLENDA
1 tsp Vanilla extract, pure
1/3 cup Walnuts (chopped)
2 cup Whole wheat pastry flour


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Using 2 bowls, combine wet ingredient and dry ingredients (separately).

In thirds, adding dry ingredients to wet until combined in a paste.

In a bread pan, coat with cooking spray and transfer banana bread mixture into pan.

Sprinkle a few extra walnuts on top and bake for 45 mins. Let rest for 10 mins before removing from pan.
Makes 12 slices, 2 slices per serving.

Substitute in grated zucchini or anise for a lower carbohydrate option.
