Health Highlights
How to make the original healthy chickpea cookie dough dip that will shock everyone who tries it!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup Chickpeas, canned, drained (or white beans; drained; rinsed very well)
1/4 tsp Salt (plus 1/16 tsp)
1 dash Baking soda
2 tsp Vanilla extract, pure
1/4 cup Almond butter (or nut/seed butter of choice)
1/4 cup Almond milk, unsweetened (*only if needed)
1/4 cup Honey (more to taste)
1/3 cup Dark chocolate chips (or carob nibs)
3 tbsp Rolled oats, dry
2 tbsp Flaxseed meal (ground) (more or less as needed.)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients (except for chocolate chips) to a good food processor (or blender - I used a vitamix), and process until very smooth.
  2. Then mix in the chocolate chips. If made correctly and blended long enough, this should have the exact texture of real cookie dough!
  3. Enjoy by the spoonful, pair with graham crackers or apple chips for a healthy sweet treat!
