Ingredients


1 cup whole Almonds, raw
1/2 cup Walnuts
1/2 cup Pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
1/4 cup Cranberries, dried (or dried fruit of choice)
1/4 cup Dark chocolate chips

Instructions


  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl or large jar.
  2. Measure out 1/4 cup of the trail mix and place in a zip-seal snack-sized bag or small food storage container. Repeat until all of the trail mix has been divided into grab-and-go snack bags or food containers.

Notes:

  • Other fun additions include coconut flakes, chocolate-covered almonds, yogurt-covered raisins, pretzels, shreddies, etc.
  • Make it fun with seasonal combinations:
    • Winter: mint chocolate chips or peppermint-coated almonds + mini pretzels + dried cranberries + pistachios and cashews
    • Fall: candy corn or Reese pieces + popcorn + pumpkin seeds + freeze-dried apple + pecans and almonds
    • Spring: Mini eggs or yogurt covered rasins + berry-flavoured Cheerios + sunflower seeds + freeze-dried strawberries + macadamia nuts and peanuts
    • Summer: white chocolate chips + coconut flakes + shreddies + dried banana and pineapple + almonds + walnuts
