Health Highlights
These little crackers are a great snack when paired with some cut up fruit or veggies.

Ingredients

1/2 cup Wheat flour, whole wheat
1/2 cup Almond flour/meal, Bob's Red Mill
1 cup, shredded Cheddar cheese, sharp
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Onion powder (optional)
3 tbsp Water, filtered
1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp Turmeric, powder (optional for color)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375oF (190oC).
  2. Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse several times to combine.
  3. Take the dough out of the food processor and form a big ball with your hands to incorporate well. The dough generally comes out fine, but you may need to add a little bit of water (just a few drops) if your dough is not well-formed.
  4. Roll out dough on top of lightly greased parchment paper. You don’t want it too thin because the crackers could break easily. Cut in fun shapes with your favorite cookie cutters or if you don’t have any, just cut in little squares with a knife.
  5. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

Notes:

Any hard cheese can be substituted for the sharp cheddar.
