1/2 cup Sesame seeds
1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
2 clove(s) Garlic
2 cup Chickpeas, canned, drained
2 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tsp Honey (optional)
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Paprika

Instructions


  1. Place the sesame seeds and olive oil in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until smooth paste forms, adding a little more olive oil if needed.
  2. Add the garlic and pulse until evenly chopped.
  3. Add the chickpeas, lemon juice, honey, and salt. Process until desired consistency, adding more olive oil (or water) as needed. Taste to adjust for salt.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with more olive oil and sprinkle with paprika.
  5. Serve with pita bread and vegetables for dipping or use in sandwiches and wraps.
