1 can (15oz) Chickpeas, canned, drained (rinsed)
1 clove(s) Garlic
1 dash Kosher salt
3 tbsp Tahini
3 tbsp Lemon juice
2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp Water (2-4 tbsp.)
1 tbsp Green onion (finely diced)


Add all ingredients to food processor (start with 2 tablespoon of water and add more if needed). Process until the hummus is smooth. Serve chilled or at room temperature.


Experiment with different flavors by adding in 1/4 cup of roasted red peppers, 1 tablespoon of pesto, 1 finely diced seeded jalapeno or an extra tablespoon of lemon for added zing!

Serves 6-8.
