Cut apples into halves and remove pits and stems
Place apples, spices and salt into the instant pot along with 1 cup of water
Close the lid and "Pressure cook" for 10 minutes, allowing the steam to release naturally
When done, Mash remaining apples chunks with a fork, or in a food processor for a smoother consistency
When ready to serve, generously sprinkle on chia seeds and let sit for about 5 minutes to make a chia pudding.
If making on the stove top, place all ingredients into a large pot. Cover and cook on medium heat for 20-30 minutes or until apples are soft
