454 gm | Ground turkey, lean (dark or light - chicken would also work) |
1/2 cup | White onion (diced OR 1 bunch green onion, diced) |
2 tbsp | Cilantro (coriander) (2 to 3 tbsp) |
1 clove(s) | Garlic (1 or 2 cloves, minced) |
1 tsp | Cumin |
1/2 tsp | Coriander, ground |
1/2 tsp | Paprika, smoked |
1/2 medium pepper(s) | Jalapeno pepper (seeded - optional for spicy, can omit if you want) |
Combine mixture. Divide into patties. Place a little oil in a pan. brown each side for a few minutes then pop in the oven to finish cooking (and no longer pink in the middle). OR just continue cooking on the stove-top. If you’re really feeling adventurous you can go outside and grill them.
