Ingredients


1 medium Apple (washed and cored)
2 spray (about 1/3 second) Olive oil cooking spray
1 dash Nutmeg, ground
1 dash Cinnamon
1 tsp Coconut, shredded, unsweetened (optional)
1 tbsp Pecans (crushed or chopped; optional)

Instructions


  1. Place washed and cored apple in a glass bowl and add three sprays of cooking oil
  2. Sprinkle the apple with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Add shredded coconut or flakes for extra sweetness and crushed pecans for texture.
  4. Microwave apple in the glass bowl for about three and a half minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Notes:

To make AIP friendly, omit the nutmeg.
