2 cup Spaghetti, dry
1 onion(s) Sweet onion (chopped)
4 clove(s) Garlic (minced)
2 medium Zucchini (chopped)
1 large pepper(s) Red bell pepper (chopped)
4 medium Carrots (peeled and chopped)
1 cup White wine, dry (non-alcoholic)
1 cup Partly skimmed milk, 2% M.F.
1 can(s) (28oz) Diced tomatoes, low sodium, canned
1 can(28oz) Crushed tomatoes canned
1 tsp Nutmeg, ground
1 cup Red lentils, split

Instructions


  1. Prepare pasta as per package instructions.
  2. Fry the onions until soft.
  3. Add the garlic, zucchini, bell pepper, and carrots and allow them to cook until soft.
  4. Pour in the white wine and milk, and add the canned diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, nutmeg, and red lentils. Simmer for half an hour.
  5. Season to taste.
