Mama Bay's Chimichurri Sausage & Pepper Hoagies

When you simmer the sausage and tri color peppers in Mama Bay's Chimichurri, the result is delicious, mouthwatering, bold and beautiful giant hoagies


4 link Italian sausage, turkey (Remove casing and slice into small 1" pieces)
2 roll Dinner roll, white (Recommend using soft hoagie roles, the right soft roll is critical )
1/2 cup Chimichurri, Mama Bay's
1/2 medium pepper(s) Red bell pepper (slice in long and thin pieces)
1/2 medium pepper(s) Orange bell pepper
1 large pepper(s) Green bell pepper
1/2 onion(s) Sweet onion
1 clove(s) Garlic (crush and dice)


Add 3/4 of the Chimichurri to a large skillet

Add garlic, onions and tri-color peppers, simmer for 5 minutes

Add sausage (substitute chicken or turkey sausage) to veggie mixture and cook until brown and crispy, for 10-15 minutes

Spread remaining chimichurri on the hoagie rolls

Add half of the sausage and peppers to one hoagie 

Add remaining sausage and peppers to another in half 

Cut sandwiches in half

Serve with Mama Bay's Chimichurri Chicken Soup
