Peaches & Cream Yogurt Bowl

Ingredients


1 cup Greek yogurt, plain, fat-free (or yogurt of choice)
1/2 cup slices Peaches, frozen (or canned in juice, not syrup)
1/4 cup Granola (or low-sugar high-fibre granola)
1 tbsp Slivered almonds (optional)
1 tbsp Coconut flakes, unsweetened (optional)

Instructions


  1. Thaw peach slices in the microwave, if using frozen. If using canned, open the can and drain the juice. 
  2. Add peach slices to a lunch container or a 500 ml mason jar, followed by the yogurt. Stir to combine, breaking the peach slices into bite-sized pieces with the spoon as you stir.
  3. In a separate container or resealable sandwich bag, combine the granola, slivered almonds, and coconut flakes.
  4. Store the yogurt mixture in the fridge overnight to grab-and-go in the morning, and place the granola mixture in a lunch bag.
  5. Before serving, give the yogurt mixture a stir and top with the granola mixture.
     

Notes:

Quick Tip:

  • The peaches can be replaced with any fruit you have at home to mix it up (canned pears, apple slices, banana, frozen berries, etc.).
