1. Soak cashews for at least one hour and up to 24 hours.
2. Drain liquid from cashews and add to food processor.
3. Add other ingredients and spices and blend on high until smooth and well combined.
4. Pour mixture from blender into a small saucepan.
5. Warm mixture on med/low heat while whisking.
6. Continue warming and whisking until mixture becomes thickened.
7. Remove from heat and enjoy
