Ingredients


1/2 cup Peanut butter, natural (Can substitute with any soy or nut butter of your choice)
2 tbsp Honey, raw
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract, pure
1 dash Salt
1 cup Rolled oats, dry
1/4 cup Oat flour (You can substitute ground flaxseed if desired.)
1/4 cup Puffed rice, brown (Puffed rice cereal)
1/4 cup Slivered almonds
1/4 cup Raisins, seedless (sultana)
1/4 cup Dark chocolate chips

Instructions


 

  1. In a small bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, and salt. 

  1. Microwave for 20 seconds and stir until combined. 

  1. In a medium sized bowl, combine the oats, oat flour, and puffed rice cereal. 

  1. If you don't have oat flour, you can make it easily from oats. Simply grind oats in a food processor until they are a flour consistency.* 

  1. Add the peanut butter mixture to the oat mixture and stir well. It will be sticky and a little bit of a challenge to stir, but keep with it. 

  1. Add in the mix-ins of your choice. (If using chocolate, let it cool a little or the chocolate will melt!) 

  1. Stir again and crumble into granola bits. 

 

 

 

Notes:

*Make sure to measure the oat flour AFTER processing the oats. You can substitute ground flaxseed if desired. 

This will keep in the fridge in a well-sealed container - for up to 6 months!
