Strawberry Banana Oatmeal

This hearty oatmeal recipe is quick and easy to prepare and will keep you feeling full and energized in the morning.


1 cup Water
1 dash Salt
1/2 cup Rolled oats, dry (gluten-free, if necessary)
1 tbsp Peanut butter, smooth
1/2 tsp unpacked Brown sugar (optional)
1 small Banana (s)
1/2 cup slices Strawberries
2 tbsp Almonds, raw (crushed)


If preparing in the microwave:

  1. Add all ingredients to a small bowl and microwave for 2 minutes. 

If preparing on the stovetop:

  1. Add the water and salt to a small pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Add oats to the boiling salted water, reduce heat to low, and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the peanut butter, brown sugar, banana, and strawberry slices. Cook for 2 more minutes. 
  4. Serve!


Quick Tips:

  • For more protein, add a teaspoon of hemp hearts or chia seeds, or a 1/2 scoop of protein powder.
  • No bananas or strawberries? No problem! Swap in some blueberries and raspberries, peaches, or apple or peach slices instead.
