Oatmeal with Bananas and Berries

This hearty oatmeal recipe is quick and easy to prepare and will keep you feeling full and energized in the morning.


2/3 cup Water
1 dash Salt
1/3 cup Oats, large flakes, dry (gluten-free, if necessary)
1/2 tsp unpacked Brown sugar (optional)
1 medium Banana (s)
1/4 cup slices Strawberries


If preparing in the microwave:

  1. Add all ingredients to a small bowl and microwave for 2 minutes. 

If preparing on the stovetop:

  1. Add the water and salt to a small pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Add oats to the boiling salted water, reduce heat to low, and cook for 7 minutes.
  3. Add the brown sugar, banana, and strawberry slices. Cook for 2 more minutes. 
  4. Serve!


Quick Tips:

For more protein, add a tablespoon of nut butter, hemp or chia seeds, or a 1/2 scoop of protein powder.

No bananas or strawberries? No problem! Swap in some blueberries and raspberries, peaches, or apple or pear slices instead.
