Overnight oats that can be customized according to your favorite flavors. Follow the proportions of oats to milk and add-in your favorite toppings!
Ingredients
1/2 cup
Rolled oats, dry
(rolled; or quick oats)
1 cup
Almond milk, unsweetened
1 dash
Salt
1 tsp
Maple syrup, pure
(or to taste)
1/2 cup
Banana (s)
(optional; use any fruit of choice)
1 tbsp
Almond butter
(optional 1-2 tbsp (can also insert protein powder here))
1 tbsp
Chia seeds
(optional; or other nut or seed add-ins of choice)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a lidded container or mason jar. Shake well, then refrigerate overnight. The next morning, simply stir and enjoy!
Notes:
You may add any fruit, seeds, or nuts as desired to switch up the combinations in this recipe. Mashed banana can be added to any recipe for added sweetness. Feel free to mix and match toppings as desired. See the original recipe for more flavor inspirations.
