A delicious alternative to a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Ingredients

Oats, dry
1 cup
Frozen berries
(berry sauce)
2 tbsp
Water
(berry sauce)
1/2 tbsp
Maple syrup, pure
(berry sauce)
1 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice
(berry sauce)
1 dash
Cinnamon
(berry sauce)
1 pinch
Sea Salt
(berry sauce)
1/2 tbsp
Chia seeds
(berry sauce)
2 tbsp
Peanut butter, natural
2 tsp hulled
Hemp seeds, shelled
Instructions
Prepare oatmeal following package instructions.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, add the frozen berries and water. Cook until berries start to pop open and become juicy, about 5 minutes.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the maple syrup, lemon juice, cinnamon, sea salt, and chia seeds. Cook until the sauce reduces and thickens slightly, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, about 5 minutes
Dish oatmeal into a bowl and stir in the peanut butter.
Drizzle berry sauce overtop and sprinkle hemp with hearts to serve.
Notes:
Quick Tip: Prepare the berry sauce the night before to save time in the morning.
