2 cup | Frozen green peas (or fresh) |
4 medium | Carrots |
1 tbsp | Nutritional yeast |
1 tsp | Salt |
1/2 tsp | Black pepper |
1/4 cup | Water |
1. Wash carrots and slice into thin rounds.
2. Add carrots, water, and spices to small saucepan with a lid.
3. Bring water to boil and allow to boil for 2 minutes.
4. Reduce heat to low simmer and add green peas.
5. Simmer on low-medium heat for about 10 minutes or until carrots and peas are tender but not mushy. Remove from heat while orange and green colors are still vibrant. Enjoy!
