Spicy peri-peri chicken livers is the ultimate quick and easy meal or snack. Chicken livers are cheap and super nutritious and they taste DAMN good.


2 tbsp Butter, unsalted
500 gm Chicken liver, raw
3 clove(s) Garlic (crushed)
4 tbsp Peri Peri sauce
1 whole lemon(s) Lemon juice
1/2 cup Heavy cream, 38% M.F.
1 pinch Salt and pepper (to taste)
1/4 cup Parsley, fresh (chopped; to serve)


  1. In a very hot skillet/frying pan, melt the butter and fry the chicken livers until golden brown on both sides.
  2. Add the garlic and peri-peri sauce and allow to fry for another minute until fragrant then add the lemon juice and cream.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and allow to simmer for 5-7 minutes
