Pesto with Moringa Pasta

Ingredients


2 1/4 cup Basil, fresh
1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil (Cold pressed oil)
1/3 cup Cashew nuts, raw (*Or walnuts)
3 clove(s) Garlic
1 pinch Himalayan salt (To taste)
2 tbsp Moringa (Fresh Moringa)
400 gm Brown rice pasta (*or choice of pasta/veggie noodles)

Instructions


  1. Place the basil, cashew, moringa, and garlic into the bowl of a food processor or blender, and pulse several times.
  2. Add the olive oil and Himalayan salt, and pulse again.
  3. Scrape down the sides of the food processor to make sure all the ingredients are blended together.
  4. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta and pesto. Enjoy!

Gluten free, Vegan or Vegetarian (if it’s a vegan cheese)
