350 gm | Tofu, regular, extra firm (1 block (sprouted and organic)) |

6 pepper(s) | Red chili pepper (also chile or chilli) (Dry) |

2 tsp | Sesame seeds (optional) |

Tofu: is an great source of plant based protein and an excellent source of iron and calcium!
Season it with tamari sauce & little salt. Keep it aside for 1 hr
For the sauce- Deseed & Soak the chilly peppers in water for 3-4 hrs or boil for 10 mins if you need instantly. Grind them in the chopper with garlic cloves. In a pan add a tbsp of oil of your choice,add the paste and let it cook for 5-7 mins.Add little salt and apple cider vinegar.The sauce is ready .It can be stored in a air tight container for 4-5 days.
In another pan add a little oil, put the marinated tofu & pan fry for few minutes .Keep aside. Next stir fry the onions & peppers, add salt & black pepper
Now mix together the Tofu, onions, peppers, szechuan sauce & top up with toasted sesame seeds. Adjust the sauce & seasonings as per your taste.
