Ingredients


3/4 cup Cashew nuts, raw
8 leaves Kale (stemmed, torn into pieces)
1/2 cup Tomato paste, canned
1/4 cup Nutritional yeast
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Italian herb seasoning, McCormick
1 tsp Paprika
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions


Soak cashews covered in filtered water overnight, or for at least two hours.

Drain water and place in blender with water until just covered. Blend until smooth. Include remaining seasonings, lemon juice and tomato paste and blend once more until just mixed.

Place kale in a large mixing bowl and top with sauce. Massage sauce into kale until well coated.

Set dehydrator to low (~ 115 degrees) and place kale on parchment paper in dehydrator trays.

Dehydrate for 10 to 12 hours.
