Quick Low-Carb Bread

Do you want bread for breakfast on occasion, while still avoiding carbs and gluten? Try this quick and easy recipe.

Ingredients


4 tbsp Creme fraiche
2 medium egg Egg white
2 tsp (level) Psyllium seed husk (ground, powedered)
1/2 cup Almond flour/meal, Bob's Red Mill
1/2 cup Sesame seeds
4 tbsp Sunflower seeds
1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
2 pinch Himalayan sea salt

Instructions


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix egg whites and sour cream in a bowl.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and work in to the egg batter. Let rest for a few minutes.
  4. Form into piles and put in a baking dish. Sprinkle some extra sesame seeds if you like.
  5. Bake in oven for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.

Notes:

Seeds

are a great way to add protein, they are a good source of fiber!

Almonds

are a great source of protein and vitamin E!
