Do you want bread for breakfast on occasion, while still avoiding carbs and gluten? Try this quick and easy recipe.
Ingredients
4 tbsp

Creme fraiche
|
2 medium egg
|
Egg white
|
2 tsp (level)
|
Psyllium seed husk
(ground, powedered)
|
1/2 cup
|
Almond flour/meal, Bob's Red Mill
|
1/2 cup
|
Sesame seeds
|
4 tbsp
|
Sunflower seeds
|
1 1/2 tsp
|
Baking powder
|
1 pinch
|
Himalayan sea salt

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix egg whites and sour cream in a bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients and work in to the egg batter. Let rest for a few minutes.
- Form into piles and put in a baking dish. Sprinkle some extra sesame seeds if you like.
- Bake in oven for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
Notes:
Seeds
are a great way to add protein, they are a good source of fiber!
Almonds
