1/2 cup Nuts, pecans, dry roasted
1/2 cup Walnuts
1/3 cup pitted Dates
3 tbsp Coconut oil
1 can(s) (13.5 oz) Coconut milk, sweetened (full fat)
1/2 cup Cocoa powder, unsweetened
1/4 cup Maple syrup, pure
1/2 cup Ground hazelnuts (hazelnut butter)
1 pinch Himalayan sea salt
3 tbsp Dark chocolate (vegan, optional topping)


  1. In a food processor, ground the nuts to a flour like consistency.
  2. Add in the dates and coconut oil to the food processor and blend with the nut mixture until combined. The mixture should resemble a large sticky ball.
  3. Remove contents from the food processor and press mixture into the bottom of a 12-cup silicone muffin tray. If using a baking dish, generously oil it first with coconut oil for easy removal later on
  4. Prepare the filling by combining the coconut milk, cocoa powder, hazelnut butter, maple syrup and salt into a food processor. Mix until everything is well combined
  5. Pour the filling into the muffin tray cups. Sprinkle a couple of pieces of chopped dark chocolate if desired
  6. Place in the freezer for at least 3 hours before serving
