Savory Roasted Coconut Flakes with Oregano

No need to watch the others eat potato chips while you munch on carrot sticks! Now you can have your own special crunchy snack, full of flavor.

Ingredients


3 cup Coconut flakes (unsweetened)
2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp Oregano, dried (or any spices you like)
1 pinch Sea salt, fine (to taste)

Instructions


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). 
  2. In a large bowl, combine the coconut flakes, olive oil, and oregano.
  3. Mix well, making sure the coconut flakes are well covered with oil and oregano.
  4. Spread the coconut flakes on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 8 minutes (mixing the coconut a couple of times during baking), or until the flakes are lightly browned.
  5. Take out of the oven, add a pinch of salt and enjoy warm or cold!
