Health Highlights

3 tbsp Olive Oil, Extra Virgin
1 clove(s) Garlic
200 gm Pasta, Fusilli, dry
5 small Campari tomatoes
4 anchovy Anchovy, canned in olive oil, drained
2 tsp Capers, canned
1 can drained White tuna, canned in oil, drained
3/4 tsp Coarse salt (For pasta water)

  1. Put on a pot for pasta. When the water is boiling add salt and then pasta. While water is boiling and the pasta is cooking make the sauce.
  2. Prepare all the ingredients:
    • Cut tomatoes in halves
    • Finely chop capers
  3. Get a medium frying pen and add 1.5 tbsp of olive oil, minced garlic and let the garlic golden up,be careful not to let it go brown.
  4. Add capers, anchovies and tomatoes (with cut side down, press down the tomatoes with a spoon to allow for better cooking). Let anchovies dissolve (break them down as they cook with a spoon and yes, they'll pretty much dissolve), also let tomatoes to cook completely. Add some boiling water if needed to avoid sticking and drying up.
  5. Add the tuna and break it into small chunks
  6. When the pasta is almost al-dente, meaning you can still feel some crunch when you try it, add it to the pen with the sauce using a draining spoon, mix well and let it finish cooking in the sauce. Add water from the pasta pot as needed.
  7. When the pasta is at the right al-dente state, add the rest of the oil take it off and serve.
