Simple Root Slaw
Feeing overwhelmed? The grounding effect of root vegetables is not to be overlooked. This simple root slaw is harmonious in its simple flavours.

Ingredients


1 cup Turnip (raw, thinly sliced into matchsticks or shredded)
1 cup Apple (thinly sliced into matchsticks or shredded)
1 cup Carrots (thinly sliced into matchsticks or shredded)
1/2 cup Green onion (chopped)
1/4 tsp Flake Salt
2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil

Instructions


1. Rinse, scrub and peel turnip, apple and carrots. Then thinly chop into matchsticks. (You can also use a grater for this) Add to a medium size salad bowl.

2. Rinse and chop green onion, add to bowl. 

3. Add apple cider vinegar, extra virgin olive oil and flake salt. 

4. Mix all ingredients together until well blended.
