454 gm Italian sausage, turkey (hot)
1 cup White onion (chopped)
1 can(s) (28oz) Diced tomatoes, canned
1 can(s) (15oz) Tomato sauce, canned
1 can (4oz) Green chiles, canned
1 can (15oz) Chickpeas, canned, drained (rinsed)
1 can (15oz) Black beans, canned (rinsed an drained)
1 can(s) (15oz) Pinto beans, canned (rinsed and drained)
2 tbsp Chili powder (to taste)
2 tsp Cumin (to taste)
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Oregano, dried

Instructions


Place the turkey and onion in a microwave safe bowl and cook until it's no longer pink and the onions are soft (5 to 8 minutes). Drain any fat and transfer to the slow cooker. Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, chiles, beans, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder and oregano. Stir to combine. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours.

Garnish with the optional toppings and enjoy!

Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 5 to 6-Quart.

Optional toppings: 1 chopped red onion, chopped fresh cilantro, reduced shredded cheddar
