454 gm Beef, ground, extra lean
1 slice Whole wheat bread
3 tbsp Partly skimmed milk, lactose free, 1% M.F.
1 large egg Egg
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp, ground Basil, dried
1 tsp Oregano, dried
1 tsp Granulated garlic
1 tsp Onion powder
1 dash Salt
1 dash Black pepper
1/4 cup Bread crumbs, seasoned (Italian bread crums)
1/4 cup Romano cheese
1 can(s) - 24 ounces Hunt’s Traditional Spaghetti Sauce, canned
6 bun(s) Hot dog bun, plain (or whole wheat)
1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese


In a medium bowl combine the bread and milk together until combined and it forms a “paste”.

Add in egg, Worchestire sauce, basil, oregano, garlic, granulated onion powder, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and Romano cheese. Mix until completely combined.

Mix in the ground beef until the paste mixture is evenly distributed.

Roll into 18 meatballs and place on the bottom of the slow cooker.

Pour sauce on top.

Cook for 7 hours on LOW in slow cooker.

Place 3 meatballs in a roll, sprinkle1½ tablespoons cheese on top, and enjoy.
