Spicy Roasted Chick Peas

1 cup Chickpeas, boiled
1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil


  1. Allow cooked chickpeas to cool a little before seasoning so they are easier to handle
  2. preheat oven to 375
  3. in a bowl toss the cooked chickpeas with the olive oil and spices, feel free to modify as you prefer
  4. spread seasoned chickpeas on a baking sheet
  5. bake in over for approximately 15 minutes or until they become crispy
  6. allow to cool before serving


Please note that cooking time does not include boiling the chickpeas first.  To cook raw chickpeas, first soak in water overnight with 1/4 tsp of baking soda (this helps speed up the cooking time).  Transfer chickpeas to a stock pot with sufficient water and cook until soft.  Then proceed with recipe.
