Ingredients


1 eggplant Eggplant
1/4 tsp Black pepper
2 tsp Coarse salt
2 tsp Chili garlic sauce (for sauce)
2 tbsp Lime juice (fresh) (for sauce)
1 tbsp Sesame oil (for sauce)
2 tbsp Sesame seeds (for sauce)
1 tbsp Vegetable oil (for sauce)

Instructions


1. Heat broiler.

 

2. Slice eggplant into 3/4-inch-thick rounds; cut each round into 3/4-inch-wide strips.

 

3. Transfer to a broiler-proof rimmed baking sheet; toss with coarse salt and ground pepper.


4. In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients; drizzle over eggplant, and toss to coat. Spread in an even layer.

5. Broil, tossing once, until eggplant is browned and tender, about 15 minutes.
