1. Place the asparagus in a pan with a 1/4 cup of water (should just skim the bottom).
2. Cover the pan with a lid, and let the water come to a boil, about 5-10 minutes.
3. Once the water is boiling turn the heat off, but leave the lid on for 1 more minute.
4. Once the minute has passed remove the asparagus from the pan and coat with avocado oil, lemon juice and salt.
