1 medium | Banana (s) (cut into chunks) |
1/2 cup | Rolled oats, dry |
1 cup | Soy milk (or almond milk) |
14 medium | Strawberries (frozen) |
1/2 tsp | Vanilla extract, pure |
1 1/2 tsp | Granulated sugar (see substitues in notes) |
1. In a blender, combine soy milk, oats, banana and strawberries.
2. Add vanilla and sugar and blend until smooth.
3. Pour into glasses and serve.
To make this recipe free of refined sugars - you can substitute the sugar for honey or maple syrup or leave it out completely!
The bananas will sweeten this recipe nicely!
