High in fibre and full of healthy fats, this recipe is the perfect antidote to over-stuffed holiday bellies.
Ingredients
1/2 cup
Buckwheat groats, dry
(soaked overnight in water)
4 tbsp
Chia seeds
1 can(s) (13.5 oz)
Coconut milk, sweetened
1 tbsp
Maple syrup, pure
1 scoop
greens+ daily detox, Genuine Health
(green apple flavour)
1/2 cup
Frozen strawberry
Instructions
The next morning drain buckwheat groats and rinse well (it can get a little slimy if you skip this step).
In another bowl, add chia seeds, coconut milk, maple syrup and greens+ daily detox. Stir to combine and allow to sit for 5 minutes to allow chia to gel.
Add chia mixture along with buckwheat groats, and strawberries to a blender. Blend on high until creamy.
