4 tsp Granulated sugar
1/4 cup Soy sauce
3 clove(s) Garlic
3 stalk(s) Green onion (minced)
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 tsp minced Ginger root
2 tbsp Sesame seeds (toasted)
1/2 cup Mirin
2 tbsp Sherry, dry
199 gm Beef, rib eye steak, lean
1/2 cup Sesame seeds (for vegetable marinade)
1 tbsp Granulated sugar (for vegetable marinade)
4 tbsp Soy sauce, low sodium (for vegenatble marinade)
1 tbsp Chives (diced, for vegetable marinade)
1 tbsp Cilantro (coriander) (for vegetable marinade)
1 tsp Sesame oil (for vegetable marinade)
1/2 cup Kimchi (garnish)


In a large bowl, whisk together all the ingredients. Cover and marinate the beef for 24 hours and grill to your liking.

For Cho Kanjang (Vegetable Marinade):
Cut favourite raw vegetables and mix all ingredients into a bowl. Marinade for 2 hours. Serve with your Bulgogi and steamed jasmine rice. Be sure vegetables are not over dressed, i.e. ratio to marinade and vegetables are equal.
