This is the best recipe taco meat! Made with the just the right ratio of spices, this taco meat is perfect for tacos, burritos, taco salad, or taco pizza.

Ingredients


454 gm Ground turkey, lean
1/2 cup Tomato sauce, canned
1/4 cup Water
1/2 tbsp Chili powder ((optional if you don't want spicy))
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 tsp Onion powder
1/2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Oregano, dried
1/4 tsp Black pepper
1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes (crushed (optional))
1 medium White onion (chopped)
1 medium pepper(s) Green bell pepper (chopped)

Instructions


  1. Brown up the ground sirloin over medium-high heat, crumbling the beef up into small chunks. Once completely browned, drain off any excess fat and blot with a paper towel to get any residual grease.
  2. Return meat to heat and add in tomato sauce, water, and spices. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Serve as desired.

Notes:

Add some Lettuce, Tomatoes, Avocado or guacamole, vegan sour cream for a nice taco
