Classic french toast with a secret ingredient; You will never do French toast any other way after making this recipe!
Ingredients

Egg
|
1 cup

Coconut milk, reduced fat
|
1/2 tbsp
|
Vanilla extract, pure
|
1/4 tsp
|
Almond extract, McCormick
|
1/4 tsp
|
Salt
|
1/3 cup
|
All-purpose white flour
|
1 tsp
|
Cinnamon
|
1/2 tsp
|
Nutmeg, ground
|
1 loaf
|
Whole wheat bread
(Briocheor Challah bread; Texas Toast can be used too)

Instructions
- Beat the eggs in a baking dish or pie plate.
- Whisk in the coconut milk, vanilla, and almond extract.
- Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and flour while continuing to whisk until totally smooth.
- Soak each side of the bread in the batter for about 15-20 seconds.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and coat with cooking spray.
- Cook the bread for about 1 minute, or until golden. Then, flip the bread, cooking on the other side for equal time or until golden.
- Serve with your favorite toppings.
