The Perfect French Toast

Classic french toast with a secret ingredient; You will never do French toast any other way after making this recipe!

Ingredients


2 large Egg
1 cup Coconut milk, reduced fat
1/2 tbsp Vanilla extract, pure
1/4 tsp Almond extract, McCormick
1/4 tsp Salt
1/3 cup All-purpose white flour
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg, ground
1 baguette Baguette, French bread (sliced, (choose or make a safe for you a option))

Instructions


  1. Beat the eggs in a baking dish or pie plate.
  2. Whisk in the coconut milk, vanilla, and almond extract.
  3. Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and flour while continuing to whisk until totally smooth.
  4. Soak each side of the bread in the batter for about 15-20 seconds.
  5. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and coat with cooking spray.
  6. Cook the bread for about 1 minute, or until golden. Then, flip the bread, cooking on the other side for equal time or until golden.
  7. Serve with your favorite toppings.
