Ingredients


2 can drained Tuna, albacore, flaked, canned in water (or skipjack tuna; 6 oz cans)
1 medium pepper(s) Red bell pepper (chopped into small pieces)
1 medium stalk(s) Celery (diced)
3/4 cup Mayonnaise
1 pickle(s) Dill pickles, low sodium (diced)
1 tbsp drained Capers, canned (plus a sprinkling of the brine they’re packed in)
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp Dill, dried
1 dash Black pepper (freshly ground; to taste)
6 leaf Lettuce, romaine (or belgian endive or radicchio for a different taste)

Instructions


  1. Mix the tuna, bell pepper, celery, mayonnaise, pickle, capers, and a sprinkle of their brine, mustard, dill, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Arrange the romaine leaves on plates. Spoon the salad into the leaves, leaving enough room to fold the lettuce over.
