Toasted Sesame Cinnamon Apple Crumble

6 small Apple (peeled, seeded and chopped)
2 1/2 tbsp Cinnamon (caylen if possilbe)
4 tbsp Applesauce, unsweetened (organic if possible)
2 tbsp Stevia sweetener, powder
1 cup Rolled oats- Gluten Free (ground)
2 cup Sesame seeds (ground)
4 tbsp Almond milk, unsweetened
1 tbsp Coconut oil
3/4 cup Raisins, seedless (sultana)


Preheat oven to 375 F and line a small loaf pan with parchment paper.
Grind rolled oats into a flour or use an almond flour.
In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped apples, cinnamon, apple sauce, raisins , 1 tbsp of stevia and 1/2 of the flour. Stir until even consistency is achieved.
Pour mixture into pan and spread so that it is even.
In a medium size mixing bowl, combine ground sesame seeds wtih oil, almond milk, and remaining stevia. Mix well and then pack on top of apple mixture in a thick, even layer by pressing down with a spoon and compacting it.
Place in middle rack in oven and check on it at about 25 min, rotate it in oven. It should take about 20 min more to cook and if you want to brown the top a bit extra (see notes below) turn on the broiler and watch very carefully. It only takes a second to burn if you leave it too long.


For extra flavour, look and texture, drizzle with oil and sprinkle with xylitol or brown sugar before popping under the broiler (this option is not included in nutritional info).
Serve with a scoop of nice cream or cocoa whip cream.
