6 medium Apple (filling - peeled and sliced)
2 tbsp Lemon juice (filling - freshly squeezed)
2 tbsp Apple cider (filling - fresh apple cider or freshly squeezed orange juice)
4 tbsp Coconut sugar (filling)
1 tbsp Arrowroot flour (filling)
1 tsp Cinnamon (filling)
1/2 tsp Nutmeg, ground (filling)
5 tbsp Coconut oil (crumble topping)
1 cup Rolled oats- Gluten Free (crumble topping)
1/2 cup Slivered almonds (crumble topping or another 1/2 cup of rolled oats)
3/4 cup Almond flour/meal, Bob's Red Mill (crumble topping)
2 tbsp Coconut sugar (crumble topping)
2 tbsp Maple syrup, pure (crumble topping)
1/2 tsp Sea Salt (crumble topping)
1 tsp Cinnamon (crumble topping)


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Place apples in a large bowl.

Mix together all filling ingredients then pour over apples.

Spread apples evenly over the bottom of a 8 by 8 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, mix together all topping ingredients with your hands till thoroughly combined.

Remove from oven and turn up heat to 400 degrees.

Sprinkle crumble mixture evenly over the top of the apples and bake for 20 more minutes.

Remove from oven and serve warm with a dollop of homemade coconut whipping cream.
