1 medium Carrots (julliened)
1/2 cup shredded Chinese (pe-tsai) cabbage, raw
5 stalk(s) Green onion, scallion, ramp (chopped finely)
250 gm Japanese noodles, soba, cooked (or udon)
5 ml Mirin
2 tbsp Olive oil
250 gm Pork, sirloin (boneless), lean (sliced thinly)
2 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 medium Yellow onion (sliced thinly)


Boil noodles and rinse.

Mix soy sauce, mirin and worcestershire sauce in a small bowl.

Heat olive oil in a skillet (wok preferably)to hot. Put in yellow onion and fry stirring for 1 minute. Add pork and cook stirring till it looses pink colour.

Add carrot and cabbage and fry stirring for 1-2 minutes. Add noodles and cook for 1 minute. Add mixed sauce and stir. Toss with green onion and serve.

Optional: Toss with chili powder if you want your dish hotter.
