Everyday Immune Boosting Vegetable Broth

An easy to make vegetable-based broth to use when your body needs some TLC or to keep yourself healthy.

Ingredients


4 chopped Carrots (or 1 sweet potato, cubed)
2 large stalk(s) Celery (roughly chopped)
2 large Yellow onion (sliced)
1 cup Parsley, fresh (finely chopped)
1 cup Shiitake mushrooms, raw (or dried )
6 bulb Garlic (about 6-8 cloves), minced)
4 piece, 1-inch Ginger root (fresh)
1 piece, 1-inch Turmeric root (fresh)
1 pinch Sea Salt
8 cup Water

Instructions


Instructions:

1.  Put all the ingredients in a stainless steel pot with a thick bottom and bring to a gentle boil. 

2.  Reduce heat to low and simmer for about an hour.

3.  Strain and pour the mineral-rich broth into a mug and enjoy supporting your gut health and thus your overall health. 

Or

Leave the veggies and roots in and add some additional veggies or precooked grain to create a main dish.

Enjoy now or use it later.

The broth freezes well.
