A cancer survivor and vegetarian for over thirty years, I believe that a nutritious diet is essential for maintaining a healthy life as well as for supporting the healing process for many dis-eases.  In fact, I attribute my own recovery to the dietary choices I have made. I have a passion for designing and cooking delicious recipes, especially ones that are plant-based.  Research reveals that a plant-based diet contributes to overall health and may prevent some of the major illnesses people experience today.  However, many just don’t know where to begin when it comes to making the transition; that they have to trade “good tasting” food for “good for you” food.

Whether you want to change your existing diet to address a specific health issue, feel more energetic, lose some weight, or simply need some strategies for making healthier food choices,  it would be my pleasure to  help you! In the words of Hippocrates, the father of medicine, “let food be they medicine and medicine be thy food.” I can show you how.

I have recently completed my Diploma in Applied Nutrition from Alive Academy and received my professional designation NNCP (Natural Nutritionist – Clinical Practitioner) from the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners which indicates that I am not only educated in natural or holistic nutrition, I am committed to conducting a professional practice and continuing to learn and grow in my chosen field. As well, I am working in accordance with an established Code of Ethics and following a defined Scope of Practice.
